After constituents wrote to me about poor mobile reception in Hornsea, I wrote to Vodafone to ask them to address the issue.
Shortly after, Vodafone informed me that the nearest serving phone mast had an incident reported in December, but as of the 15th December it is reported that the 4G performance is stable and there have been no reported issues since. There are two other local masts, one has had no recent incidents, and the second had one recent incident which was resolved and no further issues reported.
Today, Vodafone have said they’ve completed a power boost has on the main local serving site to Hornsea. I hope this will help with phone coverage locally.
